These charges are used to mechanically disrupt thin-walled shells, cases or containers containing explosives or mechanisms without initiating an explosion of their contents. FLSC allows for the rapid and safe opening of explosive device shells without provoking detonation of their contents, which is critically important for mine clearance and neutralization operations.
- The charge is made in the form of a flexible metal tube of a chevron-shaped profile, filled with a plastic explosive Composition CH-6 (composition of RDX and binders). - One centimeter of the charge length contains from 0.66 to 20 g of explosive. This amount is enough to form a cumulative jet that will cut the shell, but does not initiate an explosion of the contents of the ammunition. - Both ends of the tube are sealed with elastic epoxy resin. Packaging: - The charge has the color of unpainted gray metal, without markings. - Number of charges FLSC 125, 225, 300 - 5 pieces each, FLSC 400, 500, 600 - 3 pieces each - Packaging: wooden unpainted boxes. Weight of each box: from 7 to 9 kg (depending on the type of charge).
"FLSC" works on the principle of a long "knife": the cumulative jet has the shape of a thin, razor-like beam that cuts through walls, but does not cause detonation inside the object.
