The ammunition is intended for use with UAVs in the form of a drop, with the aim of destroying dugouts, shelters and concentrations of personnel.
The product consists of a container and a stabilizer. An inertial mechanical fuse with a KD-8A detonator capsule is installed in the rear part.
To use the ammunition as a drop, it is necessary to perform the following actions: 1. Remove one blank ammunition from the box, visually check its integrity and the absence of damage; 2. Attach the ammunition to the UAV drop mechanism; 3. Remove the inertial fuse with the detonator, make sure that there are two fuses on it and make sure that the detonator capsule is fully installed in the fuse. 4. Unscrew the transportation plug on the blank ammunition and dispose of it. 5. Carefully screw in the inertial fuse from the stabilizer side. (For more details, see the fuse card); 6. Connect the metal ring that is connected to the spring clip to the UAV body; 7. Remove the second fuse from the ammunition that is not connected to the UAV body;
ATTENTION! It is forbidden to transport UAVs with equipped ammunition!!! Check for the presence of a KD-8A type detonator capsule in the blaster channel; Check that the fuses are installed; Ammunition with cracks or significant deformation of the body, displacements or rotations of the warhead, significant bends of the tail part is NOT ALLOWED for further use and must be disposed of. It is necessary to equip the ammunition with a blaster or electric detonator only before the combat use of the ammunition. During storage, transportation, and transfer to the place of combat use, the blaster (electric detonator) must be located separately from the ammunition in a special compartment of the transport container. Ammunition equipped for discharge and correctly installed on a UAV whose design does not provide for a special mechanism for removing the check, and not used during combat use of the carrier, must be discharged only by discharge, choosing a place for the munition to burst with a solid surface or soil, personnel, or civilians who may be in a probable explosion zone with a radius of not less than 200 m. CAUTION: • Ammunition prepared for combat use should be issued only to trained and instructed personnel. • Ammunition should be transported in a transport container without an inserted inertial fuze or electric detonator. • Inertial fuzes or electric detonators should be stored in a transport container separately, in specially designated compartments. • Load ammunition (install a fuse or electric detonator) only when the ammunition is already installed on the UAV. • Protect ammunition from falling and impacts that may cause its failure when dropped from the UAV. • Study the composition of ammunition and methods of handling them only on training samples. • Live ammunition that did not explode after training drops should be destroyed at the place of their fall in accordance with the "Rules for the destruction of unexploded shells and mines". • When dropping ammunition, it must be remembered that fragments from the explosion of ammunition can in some cases fly over a radius of more than 200 m. • Before equipping ammunition on the UAV, it is necessary to first check the presence and integrity of fuses. • Avoid storing ammunition without packaging under direct exposure to precipitation. If water gets into the ammunition components, it is necessary to get rid of the water before use. • Avoid direct sunlight on the ammunition components and prevent them from heating up. • Unexploded (if the release mechanism is jammed or malfunctions) or incorrectly attached ammunition should be removed from the UAV only after installing fuses on the fuse and unscrewing the fuse from the ammunition. In this case, the UAV engines must be turned off, the release mechanism must be de-energized, and all necessary measures must be taken to prevent the ammunition from falling. When working with ammunition, IT IS PROHIBITED: • To allow persons who do not have sufficient training and have not undergone special instruction to work on preparing ammunition for equipping UAVs with them or connecting ammunition equipped with detonators to the devices for controlling the release and detonation to work. • It is strictly forbidden to disassemble the ammunition container. • To open and leave the factory packaging open unnecessarily. • To tilt, drag, throw or hit boxes with ammunition during their transportation. • To touch live ammunition that has not exploded after being dropped. • To allow ammunition with damage that may cause untimely operation or its failure to be equipped with UAVs. • To carry detonators or electric detonators in bulk, in clothing pockets, in tool pouches, etc. • Hook up (remove) ammunition already equipped with fuses or electric detonators while the UAV engines are running or the release control system is powered.
