The TM-62T mine is intended for production in wartime as an alternative in case of shortage of metal or plastic for the body and insufficient industrial capacity. In peacetime, its production and accumulation of stocks are not planned. The explosion of the TM-62T destroys 3-5 tracks, 1-2 rollers, 1-2 balancers (Fig. 1.8.2).
The TM-62T mine body is made of nylon fabric impregnated with epoxy. Externally, it differs from the TM-62P3 only in the texture of the body surface.
When a tank track (car wheel) hits the detonator cover, it breaks through the weakened section, the cover presses on the intermediate detonator, which leads to the mine being triggered.
As a non-extraction element, booby traps MS-3, MS-4, ML-7, ML-8 can be used.
Standard, in black letters on the side or top surface of the case and contains: – TM-62T– mine code; – 66-7-79 – manufacturer’s code– batch number– year of manufacture (the numbers may be different); – T– equipment code, based on the table.
