Haven't encountered it yet, but it's possible it could be used.
Designed to disable tracked and wheeled enemy vehicles. The damage to enemy vehicles is caused by damaging their chassis when the mine charge explodes when the wheel (roller) hits the mine detonator. Not intended for use in long-term minefields.
It does not have a body. Its role is played by a reinforced surface layer of explosive substance. The mine can be equipped with a detachable handle for carrying a harness type, or a non-detachable handle made of synthetic mine tape. The main difference from all other mines of this family is that it does not have a body and is made of a solid explosive VVO-32, which is particularly resistant to mechanical influences. A plastic ring with a thread for screwing in any of the detonators of the MV-62 family is pressed into the upper part. An intermediate detonator made of pressed TNT is pressed below. Two holes are made in the upper plane of the mine, where the handle for carrying the mine is inserted
There are no non-extraction elements, but surprise mines MS-3, MS-4, ML-7, ML-8 can be used as the latter with the mine.
The mine is not equipped with a self-destruct device.
Standard, applied with black paint on the side surface of the mine and contains: – TM-62B– mine code; – 112-07-73 – manufacturer’s code– batch number– year of manufacture; – VVO-32 – equipment code.
